Most modern, fashionable jackets are made of a combination of rainproof and nonwoven materials.
Exquisite and lightweight fabrics have always been prized by fashion designers and individual consumers alike. The MBocharova brand is traditionally accustomed to pleasing its customers with high-quality products made of the best materials. Therefore, for the production of dresses and suits along with various types of cotton, we use muslin, which is probably one of the best fabrics for this purpose.
The name of the fabric, which has a bright oriental color, comes from the Iranian city of Musol, where a special method of weaving threads was invented. Thus, muslin is not the name of a separate fabric, but rather a technological process that produces an extremely lightweight yet durable material that is exceptionally soft. Modern muslin is based on cotton, silk and wool fibers. Bamboo muslin is also gaining in popularity, which is distinguished from other fabrics by its characteristic sheen and increased durability. The main characteristics of the final product and methods of caring for muslin products partly depend on the base fiber. However, the general characteristics of any muslin fabric remain the same, which should be taken into account when choosing this particular fabric.
The vast majority of people who have touched muslin will agree with its poetic description: “it's a fabric you would want to wrap your baby in.” And indeed: the fabric is perfectly breathable, soft to the touch, hygroscopic and warm. It is probably the only type of fabric that does not become stiffer with each wash, but actually softer. Since the raw materials for textiles are natural, the final product is hypoallergenic and environmentally friendly. That's why muslin is used for baby diapers and wraps, underwear, bodysuits and turtlenecks, shirts and much more.
